Donner wanted me to try out their new PO-8 Dynamic podcast mic ($80-$99) so I put it up against my usual mic the Shure SM7B ($399).
In this video you will see what comes with the mic, my first impressions, and voice comparisons to the much more expensive Shure SM7B.
Consider this to be a sponsored video. The mic was provided to me at no cost. Donner have no editorial input on the content of this video.
IMO this mic is shockingly good, and not just for the price. I would choose this over something like the RODE PodMic any day.

PROS
- Heavy mic feels like a professional product
- Great clear sound with low self noise
- A few dB more sensitive than other mics (requires less gain)
- Includes bundle of accessories
- good rejection of off-axis sounds
CONS
- included shockmount not very effective in removing movement noise
- relatively unknown brand is new to this market
- long term reliability unknown
