2560×1600 At 165 Hz, Powered By An RTX 3070 Ti
Lenovo is far more famous for business laptops, however their Legion series is specifically designed for gamers. The new Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is powered by a 4.7GHz i7-12700H, the aforementioned RTX 3070 Ti, 16GB of DDR5-4800 and a 512 GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. The screen itself is 16″ with a 16:10 2560×1600 IPS panel that has a top refresh rate of 165 Hz. The 2.4kg (5.3lbs) weight is fairly light for a system of this power, so it shouldn’t bother you too much to carry it around.
If you are gaming at home, you can choose between HDMI or a proper Thunderbolt 4 connection which supports both USB-C and DisplayPort 1.4. It also comes with both Intel Wi-Fi 6e AX211 and wired LAN if you want a lower latency. You may also be pleased that the only piece of software that Lenovo installed is something called Lenovo Vantage that lets you tweak GPU settings. It also comes with Nahamic 3.0, which is not provided by Lenovo but does come installed.
